Welcome to Dsm Detailing!

This agreement outlines the details of our services and your responsibilities as our customer. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

What We Provide:

  • Professional Detailing: We offer a range of car detailing packages to leave your vehicle looking its best.
  • Convenience: We detail rain or shine and come to you (with access to water and electricity needed).

Booking & Cancellation:

  • Schedule Ahead: We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to secure your desired time slot.
  • Changes Happen:  If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a $80 cancellation fee.
  • We May Reschedule Too:  rare cases, we may need to reschedule due to staffing, weather, or equipment issues. We'll notify you promptly.

Taking Care of Your Vehicle:

  • Access & Keys: Please provide access to your vehicle and its keys during the detailing process.
  • Authorization to Move: By booking, you authorize our technicians to move your vehicle as necessary for the detailing job.

Service Timelines:

  • Each Package has a Time Limit: Our packages have estimated completion times based on the level of detail chosen. You can find these timeframes listed on our website.
  • Extra Dirty Fee: In some cases, excessively dirty vehicles may require extra time. We'll inform you of a potential "extra dirty fee" ($60/hour) before or during the detailing process.

What to Expect from the Results:

  • Realistic Expectations: We strive for the best results possible, but the age and condition of your vehicle can impact the outcome. We provide a general guideline for expected improvement based on the time since your last detail
  • Final Inspection: We conduct a final inspection with you at the end of the service. If you have any concerns after the inspection is complete and we've left, please contact us within 24 hours.

Our Responsibility and Limits:

  • We Take Care, But Accidents Can Happen:  While we're highly skilled and careful, unforeseen damage is a possibility. We will inform you immediately if any damage occurs.
  • Pre-Existing Issues: We are not liable for pre-existing damage to your vehicle.
  • Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the total cost of your detailing service.

Payment & Feedback:

  • The Price You See is the Price You Pay: The final price you see when booking reflects the total cost of service..
  • We Appreciate Your Feedback:  Please let us know how we did! We value your input, good or bad.
  • Sharing Your Shine: With your permission, we may use photos of your detailed car for marketing purposes (without revealing any personal information).

Terminating Service:

  • Reserve the Right to Refuse: In rare cases, we may need to terminate service with a client if their behavior is disruptive or disrespectful to our staff.

Changes to this Agreement:

We reserve the right to update this agreement at any time.  Changes will be posted here.

Dsm Detailing Service Agreement

By booking or using Dsm Detailing services, you (“Client” or “You”) agree to the following terms and conditions, which constitute a legal agreement between you and Dsm Detailing (“Contractor”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

Firm Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy

. More than 48+ hours notice: No fee
. 24-48 hours notice: $50 fee
. 12-24 hours notice: 50% of service amount, up to $250 fee.
. Less than 12 hours notice or No call/No show: 100% of service amount, up to $250 fee.
. Client not present or vehicle unable to be detailed upon arrival: 100% of service amount, up to $250 fee.

Note: Dsm Detailing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to staffing, traffic, weather, or equipment issues. This cancellation policy also applies to gift certificate appointments. For any cancellation or missed appointment fees, the credit card on file will be charged the applicable amount.

Late Arrival

Dsm Detailing may arrive up to 90 minutes late due to tight schedules or traffic. We appreciate your patience in such situations.

Vehicle Access, Operation & Service Quality

By booking, you agree to provide Dsm Detailing personnel with access and keys to your vehicle to perform services, including detailing, ceramic coating, tinting, wrap, wet sanding, and other cosmetic enhancements. We strive to maintain high-quality service standards. Any concerns must be communicated within 24 hours of service completion. Concerns raised beyond this timeframe or refusal to participate in the final inspection will not be addressed.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation Of Liability

Dsm Detailing will document any pre-existing damage before starting work but is not liable for such conditions. If any damage occurs while in our care, we will notify you promptly. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. Dsm Detailing is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Fees, Service Terms & Payment

Total Cost: The fee is set at booking. Additional charges for add-ons or extended time over 30 minutes will be discussed with you for approval.
Payment:
Due upon completion via Credit Card, Debit, or Cash. Late payments incur a 10% fee plus 0.5% daily interest until fully paid. You are responsible for Dsm Detailing collection costs, if applicable.
Extra Dirty Fee: If a job takes longer than anticipated, an extra dirty fee of $50 per additional 30 minutes may apply, subject to your approval.

Access Requirements

To perform mobile detailing services, we require access to water and electricity. If access is unavailable upon arrival, a fee of up to 100% of the service amount (capped at $250) will apply. If you’re unsure about water and electric access, please call (515) 205 8489 to reschedule.

Safety

Please disclose any hazardous substances in your vehicle before detailing. You assume responsibility for any health or safety risks associated with your vehicle.

Feedback, Termination & Governing Law

We welcome your feedback at (dsmdetail22@gmail.com). By booking our services, you grant Dsm Detailing permission to use images of your vehicle for marketing purposes, unless you object in writing. This agreement is governed by Iowa law. By booking and using our services, you confirm that you are authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of the vehicle’s legal owner and are 18 years of age or older. You agree to indemnify and hold Dsm Detailing harmless from any claims or damages arising from a lack of authority to enter into this agreement.

Mandatory Gratuity Fee

If you do not participate in the final quality control check and inspection at the end of the job, a 10% gratuity fee will be added to the invoice. This fee is non-negotiable if you are unable to inspect the vehicle with the technician at the end of the job.

Acknowledgments

By booking our services, you acknowledge that:

.  Payment is for the time and effort spent servicing your vehicle, not tied to any specific outcome.
.  Dsm Detailing liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service.
.  All Sales Are Final.

Dsm Detailing reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. Any changes to this Service Contract will be listed in this section,
Dsm Detailing does not make any commitment to update the materials.
